Our Projects

KINOE’s mission is to educate some of the poorest children in India and Nepal, to enable them to develop the skills they need to get a job or go on to higher education. We believe that money spent on education is more effective at lifting people out of poverty than any other form of aid. We’ve helped over 7,000 underprivileged children to benefit from a good education. The impact on their lives and the lives of the people in their communities has been dramatic.
In India we support the Akanksha Foundation, which now impacts over 8,000 children, and operates 21 schools. We also support Teach for India, which aims to end illiteracy in India within two decades.

In Nepal we support a range of projects including Lo Kunphen, a Tibetan school in the remote kingdom of Lo Manthang; ABC Nepal (an organisation supporting the education of exploited girls), Teach for Nepal and Chhahari Nepal for Mental Health (an organisation supporting education for those affected by mental health issues).
